What does lifetime updates mean?
Unlike ALL competitive products we do not charge an annual subscription. DriveSentry ONLY charge a one off payment which activates a perpetual licence that lasts for the life time of your computer or device.
The perpetual license entitles you to lifetime signature updates from our Advisor database, in addition you are entitled to free updates to your current major version of DriveSentry (e.g. 3.1 -> 3.2).

Will I get a free upgrade to the latest version if I have purchased DriveSentry recently?
If you have purchased a version of DriveSentry (Desktop, GoAnywhere or Security Suite) in the past 30 days, you will be upgraded to the next major version of the same product FREE of charge. (e.g V1.X to V2.0).

What if I want to upgrade to the Security Suite from DriveSentry Desktop or GoAnywhere?
We offer discounted upgrades to the Security Suite for $10/€10/£10, please contact sales@drivesentry.com with your existing account and purchase details and we can process the upgrade. If you have purchased DriveSentry Desktop or GoAnywhere in the 60 days before launch (18th May 2009), we are offering a reduced $5/€5/£5 upgrade fee.

What does the new Security Suite offer that isn’t in my current version of DriveSentry?
The DriveSentry Security Suite is a combined package of DriveSentry Desktop and DriveSentry GoAnywhere. The additional features available in the Suite are:
- Drag & Drop AES 256bit data encryption on your PC – Encrypt files and valuable data with simple to use drag & drop encryption on your PC.
- File Synchronisation/backup – securely synchronise and backup data from your portable storage device to your desktop.
- Premium Support via Telephone, Instant Messaging, Email.

Do you still offer a free version of DriveSentry Desktop?
Yes, this is currently unavailable from our website but can be downloaded from most major shareware sites including download.com, Tucows, Softpedia etc.

Will you continue to support and offer updates to DriveSentry Desktop (paid & free version)?
Yes, we have no plans to discontinue the free or paid version of DriveSentry Desktop. We are continuously researching and developing new premium features for our paid products/suites whilst offering simple next generation anti-virus protection for free.
