DriveSentry 3.1 is FREE to use for home users, schools and non profit organizations.
Commercial organizations must upgrade their copy of DriveSentry if they use the product for more than 30 days, see below for costs.

Although DriveSentry is free to use, we have created additional features and will be developing further add on optional enhancements which are not included in the standard free version.

Tricklefeed technology is a ‘paid for’ additional feature.

DriveSentry provides vital security alerts, available through the DriveSentry Advisor Community and the DriveSentry website, highlighting when new malicious threats are spreading across the Internet. The free version of DriveSentry also automatically alerts you when there is signature update available. You can then synchronize your database to ensure fully automated protection which includes drastically reduced popup warnings.

Tricklefeed is a simple feature which fully automates database synchronization, so your local DriveSentry database is always up to date with the latest signatures. With a new virus signature discovered every other second in 2007, DriveSentry advise users to purchase the low cost upgrade to ensure they are kept up-to-date, reducing the risk of infection further.

Easy low cost upgrade process

To upgrade DriveSentry Desktop simply select the credit card (‘Upgrade’) icon in the toolbar on the main program interface of the user interface of the DriveSentry Desktop product. Alternatively right click on the DriveSentry icon in the taskbar or right click on the small graphical InfoBar window and select ‘Upgrade’ from the menu options.


After selecting ‘Upgrade’(DriveSentry Desktop) you will be taken through a very short and simple secure payment process. Once you have filled in all necessary fields within the purchase window, select ‘Submit’ and then select ‘Close’. This will automatically activate a lifetime license.

Note: when upgrading DriveSentry Desktop, you will be prompted to create a personal Advisor account before upgrading if you haven’t already done so.


How much does an upgrade cost?

The cost of DriveSentry Desktop depends on your country of residence:

£10 = United Kingdom (inc VAT)
€10 = EU
$10 = USA & Rest of the World*
*If you are outside of the USA, the cost will be the closest to $10 in local currency, depending on your credit card's current exchange rate.

Unlike ALL competitive products we do not charge an annual subscription. DriveSentry ONLY charge a one off payment which activates a perpetual licence that lasts for the life time of your computer or device.
